This recipe is bound to put some SPICE in your life! A household favorite of my and my husbands and without the spice, my kids love it too!
It’s a take on some crispy chicken, except this chicken has is completely gluten free and you would never know! It also doesn’t require any oil or anything to be fried. Just a pan and a hot oven and this baked chicken will leave you with a sweet tang.

Honey Buffalo Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1lb Chicken Breast
- 3 Cups Corn Flakes
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Egg
For the Sauce
- 1 TB Butter
- 1/4 Cup Hot Sauce
- 2 TB Honey

Directions
- Place the Corn Flakes, Salt, and Parmesan cheese in a blender or food processor until finely chopped and combined. Place onto a plate or bowl and set aside
- In a bowl scramble 1 egg. Set aside
- Take your chicken (if huge cut in half) and pat dry. Then place in the egg mixture letting all the excess drip off. Lastly place in the cornflake mixture until well coated. Then place on a prepared pan.
- Once all the chicken is coated bake at 400 degrees for 18 minutes.
- While the chicken in cooking take a pot and combine the butter, hot sauce, and honey and cook on low on the stovetop until well combined (roughly 4-5 minutes). Set aside.
- Once the chicken in done, take out of the oven and turn your oven to broil. Next, pour the sauce over top the baked chicken until well coated. Place the chicken back in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until chicken is brown and crispy.
- When the chicken is done it should be well coated with the hot sauce, crispy, and brown
- Serve on a sandwich or with potatoes or rice!
NOTES:
** The sauce is for two pieces of chicken, double the sauce recipe if coating more than two pieces
**To make this family friendly, pull the baked chicken off the pan after it’s baked and set aside for anyone that doesn’t like the spicy sauce.
